Cement Industry:
Concerning the extreme production conditions in the cement industry an exact monitoring
of the production process is absolutely necessary.
The refractory walling of a rotary furnace is burdened under high mechanical, chemical and
thermal conditions. Furthermore there are secondary combustibles in different structures.
Only with a firing chamber camera a continuous monitoring is possible.

Monitoring:
• rotary furnace
• clinker cooler
• supply of the raw material
• conveying belts

The clinker cooler is working with our standard probe with a 60 mm diameter.
According to the different variation of light level we furnish our camera with a video
signalcontrolled objective. This probe can be installed irremovable or with an automatic
retraction device.
This system gives the important advantage that in case of loss of cooling supplies or excess
temperature the furnace probe housing is retracting automatically from the hot area and the
probe is protected from damages.
By installation of a probe in the port block of the rotary furnace a retraction device is not
necessary. Because of the focal length of the objective the probe is not placed in the
combustion chamber and is not subjected to thermal stress.
